Seems very thoughtful! It seems they are still open for comments and adjustments.

Here is the message:

Hello [user],

Codeberg is now more than three years online - an exciting time for all of us. Thank you for being with us in this journey. In these three years, we saw a lot of awesome content, but also some awful things we'd rather not have on our platform.

To facilitate the work of our volunteer moderators, avoid ambiguous cases and be clearer to end users, we are now updating our Terms of Use.

TL;DR: You can find the updated version at https://codeberg.org/codeberg/org/src/TermsOfUse.md and if you want to see the diff, you can have a look at https://codeberg.org/Codeberg/org/pulls/18/files

The long story:

Unlike large platforms, where lawyers and for-profit interests determine new Terms of Service, we tried to be as democratic as possible. The elected presidium of Codeberg e.V. (the non-profit association behind Codeberg.org even You can join at https://join.codeberg.org) made a proposal that was discussed and revised among Codeberg e.V. members for several months. After implementing some ideas and finding a consensus, there was a two week voting phase for all Codeberg e.V. members, with an overwhelming majority approving the change.

We are proud of this experiment and are looking for even more participation for our community-owned and -maintained platform.

Thank you very much for supporting our mission.

Kind regards, Your Codeberg e.V.

   submitted by /u/gnramires
[link] [comments]

New ToS -- Well done, Codeberg!

   submitted by /u/CodingHobby
[link] [comments]

What Is Full Stack? | What Is Full Stack Web Development | Complete Roadmap

Example:

MyRepoX has 3 folders: folder1 folder2 folder3

I want to invite a collaborator and give him full access only to folder 3 without the need of my approvation for him to create/change/modify the content within that folder.

Is this possible?

Thanks!

   submitted by /u/Don-g9
[link] [comments]

Provide access to a specific project folder for a collaborator

|
