I hooked it up to my computer as a third monitor. I mainly intend to use it to display youtube videos in the background, track progress for 3d prints, other things to quickly reference.</p> <p>The problem is, there is such little screen real estate that the search bar and tool bars and favourites take up half the screen making navigating web pages needlessly difficult.</p> <p>Is there a stripped down web browser with a minimalist interface that&#39;s good for small low resolution screens like that? Specifically I am looking for small/resizable search bar, no tabs, no favorites bar, no other bells or whistles to get in the way.</p> <p>The OS I&#39;m using is windows 10. The screen I am using is an MTC MTV-6 6&quot; color TV/Monitor. I am unsure of it&#39;s actual resolution but I have it set to 400x300. I have a new HP laptop with Win 11 and it won’t display a login page for a certain website. Tried Chrome, Firefox, Edge &amp; Opera - same on all. Not a cache issue as haven’t gone to the site before on this machine. Site is azbar.org, click Login top right. Page appears to finish loading but I just see a gray background - the login dialog won’t display. Also tried compatibly mode and different color scheme, no change. </p> <p>Works fine on a Win 10 machine at home but I’m on the road. Would be great if someone else could try it on a Win 11 box &amp; see what happens. Let me just use this following scenario to explain it best:</p> <p>Suppose this. You have a Facebook account A and use it on your laptop with Google Chrome. Now, you want another Facebook account B that is not connected to account A. The way you try it is this. You install Firefox and use a different email address to create the new Facebook account. You create and use it <strong>only from different WIFIs,</strong> so both Facebook accounts have different IP addresses.</p> <p>Does this work? Suppose account A gets banned. Will Facebook have somewhat of a connection to acount B and ban that one too? If certain privacy settings in Firefox are needed to make this work, which would that be concretely?</p> <p>And again, the question is meant to be general. Obviously chrome is currently the default but it sucks. Was scrolling online and found these options:</p> <p>&#x200B;</p> <p>1- Firefox focus - I did have a shot but it is way too limited and not made for avg daily use. </p> <p>2- Firefox nightly - Since I use the nightly version on desktop (which is surprisingly better than stable) perhaps I should add it to my phone? </p> <p>3- Edge - It has a super strong sync but heard that the adblocker is lame.</p> <p>4- Vivaldi- People say it is not as good as the desktop browser. I did give it a shot and I found that the adblocker is weaker than edge&#39;s adblocker.</p> <p>&#x200B;</p> <p>Any suggestions? I&#39;ve been using Opera GX for more than six months now, but I&#39;m looking to try a new browser now since I think Opera GX has been focussing too much on aesthetics rather than utility, productivity and multitasking. But I&#39;m hesitant to make the change as some features of Opera GX I absolutely adore, like Pinboards, Easy Files and keybindings for sidebar messengers. </p> <p>Here are some features that I&#39;d like my new browser to have:- </p> <ol> <li>Pinboards or anything similar (I don&#39;t think that browser notes like Vivaldi&#39;s match up to Opera&#39;s genius Pinboards, but if the browser shines in all other aspects, then I can consider giving up Pinboards.) </li> <li>Sidebar or side panel with the ability to add custom websites (I think every modern browser should have a sidebar)</li> <li>Customizable keybindings for almost everything (especially for the sidebar so that switching between the sidebar and the main window is faster) </li> <li>In-built auto dark mode for websites</li> <li>Automatic PiP video pop out when switching tabs would be a bonus.</li> <li>A quick command interface like Vivaldi&#39;s would be a bonus too.<br/></li> </ol> <p>I know that many of the requirements can be met by Vivaldi, but I find Vivaldi quite overwhelming because it&#39;s bloated with more features than you need. And also, Vivaldi seems to be slow in loading web pages, at least in my case. </p> <p>I already know about Vivaldi and would like to explore new browsers. I joined this community just today and learned about Arc, Naver Whale &amp; SideKick browsers. I liked all three of them, but I haven&#39;t tried any of them yet. The most recent messages show up as “6 hours ago”. </p> <p>Changing date and time in the computer’s settings has proved useless so far.
