Well, it's coming up to that time of year again Winter the coldest season of the year (at least if you are in the Northern Hemisphere sorry everyone else)

This is what BIFL is really about. Not only does Lee Valley still sell the consumable blade for their old marking gauges (discontinued nearly 20 years ago), it's actually a dollar cheaper than the blade for the new model.

[Request] Best hand/wrist brace for carpal tunnel/rsi?

My partner and I are both artists, and as such we both have pretty frequent wrist problems. I have a brace that works great for me- anytime my wrist or hand start causing me issues, I wear it overnight and feel completely fine by the next day. My partner has one too, and it helps them a bit, but they can barely stand wearing it and often tear it off overnight because it's too uncomfortable. They're in their first year of art school, and so not only is their hand already causing them pain, but they genuinely can't take breaks to heal it even if they want to.

I'm looking for a really good wrist/hand brace to get them, preferably one that's very lightweight without lots of padding, as I think that's the part that makes their current one so uncomfortable for them to wear.

Any suggestions?

KitchenAide KDFM404KBS v. Bosch 800 series opinions?

Hello,

Requesting opinion/advice .

I love Bosch. I have a Bosch refrigerator and Bosch dishwasher. Both awesome. I need to replace an older non-Bosch at rental I manage. Bosch is so backordered that I can't find anything within 150 miles and most shipping is out a month.

There is a sale on an out of the box KitchenAide KDFM404KBS. It looks very nice. There is a KitchenAide refrigerator that is about 13 years old in this rental and it's been awesome.

Curious about opinions on this as a substitute for a bosch. Practically speaking I'd like to get 10 low touch years out of it.

Collar stains on white dress shirts

I buy nice white shirts for work- wear them under suits- but I work in a hot climate and the collars get pretty discolored after a couple of months. i don’t wind up keeping them anywhere near life, but I’d really REALLY like to find a way to actually get them white again. That would extend the life of these to at least a couple of years. Does anyone have anything that actually works on white shirt discoloration?
