You can "practice" with ssh by setting up the ssh_config and sshd_config files correctly

Port 9669 -- comment this out if you wish to connect over standard port 22 (i.e. github connections won't work over different ports)
XauthLocation /usr/bin/xauth

/etc/sshd_config

PermitEmptyPasswords no
X11Forwarding yes
ClientAliveInterval 200
ClientAliveCountMax 3

restart the sshd server

Commands:
Then connect via the LAN:
ssh -Y 192.168.0.76 -t /usr/bin/zsh

Or whatever:
ssh -Y 192.168.0.76 -t firefox
