Please read below text in full and then leave a comment in this thread to apply. Mods who break any of the below rules are liable to be immediately removed even (especially) if they were just added - please don't comment without reading:

Mods should do the following:

Click "spam" on spam posts. Spam is "if over 10% of your submissions and conversation are your own site/content/affiliate links, you're almost certainly a spammer." Anything else is NOT spam and should NOT be marked as spam. 1.a. (optional) add the spammer to automod's shadowban list and report them to /r/reddit.com.
Click "remove" (NOT "spam") on rulebreaking submissions/comments that do not fit the spam criteria above. After you click remove, make a comment inside the post stating the rule broken (rule MUST be from the subreddit sidebar or reddit.com/rules). Click the "distinguish" button for that comment.
Don't use distinguished comments for anything that doesn't have to do with moderation.
Don't break any sidebar/reddit rules yourself (e.g. don't insult people), in modmail or the subreddit.
Don't remove posts and comments that don't break rules even if you disagree with or dislike what's posted or you think it should be against a rule. If you think a new rule needs to be added, start a vote in modmail and leave the content alone.
Participate in moderation democratically. Don't go against (undo) mod decisions unless there has been discussion or updates to or new info about the content the mod acted on. Don't make major sub changes without a vote and a week for mods to chime in. Put the word "deal" somewhere in the comment that you leave as a reply to this post you're reading now, to signify that you've read and agree to everything here.
All bans, except for spam, should be made with a note to the mods and a message sent to the user. Both of these notes have to include a link to content that breaks the rules and the text of whatever rule that was broken. No users, except spammers, should be receiving just the default message when they are banned.
Contribute at least 1 mod action a month to the moderation effort (remove/approve something that needs it).
Be OK with being removed from the modlist if you don't do the above.
Have an old account with a fair bit of commenting history. Having rule-abiding comment/submission history in this sub would obviously be preferable -- it would be nice if you could let me know that you do in your reply.

Note: please leave comments here rather than PMing me or sending modmails. If you PM/modmail, it gets way too confusing trying to keep track of everything.

If someone is forcing you to decrypt a Windows 10 or Linux device and enter a password, can you fool them so your data and OS stay safe?

For example, you enter false information to log in and decrypt the drive and get into a decoy, but keep the actual OS and data encrypted and hidden?

Can I just purchase LTC on cake wallet and convert to XMR all on cake wallet? And then transfer to my secure wallet in tails and then to DN? I’d prefer to purchase straight from cake wallet if this is safe to reduce one step. Plus they allow card transactions. Is this safe?

Just got an alert for a new update on my tails OS USB. Now I have to wait 5 minutes between every click I make to be recognized through the entire OS... shit is so slow that I'm about to throw this mofo. Anyone have the same problem now or any advice?

How Do You Usually Access I2p?

Do most users just use the Firefox addon and easy setup up package on a Windows machine, are more people starting to use Prestium, or is there some other popular way I'm not aware of?

I'm just curious, I'm worried about the opsec when using it on a Windows machine, I suppose I'm just curious as to if that is a common worry or if most users are just going with it on their usual OS.

Is using the darknet immoral?

I had a discussion with my wife and admitted to going on the darknet to buy...stuff. She is more disappointed in the fact that I used darknet. She considers it immoral and believes that anyone who uses it is supporting those who create and sell child abuse. I told her that was nonsense, that I do not support anything like that and that many others who use the darknet, feel the same way.

She's still pissed.

What do you guys think?

I swear it's been over a year now since I've been able to use it. I check links everyday, read forums, "verify" mirrors and keep up with my knowledge of TOR. All I'm asking for is a second opinion.
